A Writer

Marta Coffer

I have always been a voracious reader, so I suppose it's only natural that I would attempt to write at a fairly young age. As a teenager I delved into the world of poetry, fascinated by the musical sounds of the simplest words. Stories began to collect and mushroom in my mind as I read Tolkien, Austen, Patricia McKillip, Neil Gaiman, and a host of others who left their indelible mark on my heart. I'd finish a flawless masterpiece with a wistful desire to write something that would leave such an imprint on someone else's life.
"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." -- Colossians 2:2-3.
